The MARLIN Challenge is your opportunity to revolutionize maritime communication and ensure the German Navy\u2019s operational capability in times of crisis. MARLIN brings together innovative teams from research, the startup scene, SMEs, and industry to develop new technological solutions for security-relevant maritime applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for disruptive technologies that push the boundaries of what is possible: Beyond-Line-of-Sight (BLOS) connectivity on the high seas<\/strong>\u2014resilient to weather and electronic attacks, and powerful enough to meet the demands of a hybrid fleet. In scenarios where conventional radio and satellite systems reach their limits\u2014or are no longer available at all\u2014we need your solution. MARLIN aims to establish a stable data connection with high transmission rates between an operations center on land and units at sea\u2014over at least 30 nautical miles, despite hostile jamming signals and extreme environmental conditions.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The challenge is structured as a multi-stage competition process, ranging from open submission and selection of the best concepts to practical testing of developed demonstrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
