Challenge Organizer
The Agentur für Innovation in der Cybersicherheit GmbH (Cyberagentur) was founded to identify, finance, and evaluate high-risk projects with significant innovation potential in the field of cybersecurity. It takes a strategic and cross-departmental approach to addressing the needs of internal and external security.
With idea competitions such as the MARLIN Challenge, the Cyberagentur supplements its existing tools with an open format that allows for the greatest possible diversity of ideas and solutions and strengthens an open, risk-taking culture of innovation.
Challenge Partners
The competition is supported by the German Navy and the German Navy Command (MarKdo): As a higher command authority directly subordinate to the Federal Ministry of Defense, the German Navy Command performs maritime tasks in all military-specific and central areas of the Bundeswehr.
It is precisely this close integration of innovation promotion, technical evaluation, and realistic testing that defines the unique character of the Challenge.
