What participants can expect

Direct access to the pros: Receive exclusive feedback from experts at the Cyberagentur and operational users in the German Navy.
Testing under real-world conditions: As finalists, you’ll gain access to a maritime “sandbox.” You can test your prototype in a real-world environment—on the high seas using German Navy equipment; an environment that is normally off-limits.
Financial support: Up to six selected teams, as finalists, will each receive up to 40,000 EUR to implement their concepts during the working phase.
Attractive prize money:
1st place: 100,000 EUR
2nd place: 50,000 EUR
3rd place: 30,000 EUR
The start of a wonderful partnership? The challenge is just the beginning. If your project is successful, the German Navy reserves the option to work directly with you on follow-up projects and begin implementation.
